Ronnie Lee Robbins: Join The Club for the Permanently Single

Ronnie Lee Robbins Permanently Single Cover, white male wearing a cowboy hat against a blue background, dropping a wedding ring from his hand with a smile.

Ronnie Lee Robbins is lifting a beer in a toast with his friend Joe, celebrating Valentine’s Day 2026, but with a twist, this V-Day he’s giving a new upbeat track, dedicated to Joe and other self-declared dudes who are single — by choice! As in self sworn “permanently” singled.

“At least, I think that’s what most guys think about after a tough breakup or divorce… man, I think I’m just gonna stay permanently single,” Robbins says with his sheepishly wicked grin. “I love a good, funny, country breakup tune because the humor comes in relating to real life. My dad‘s been writing a lot of of my song lyrics lately, and he nailed this one. He calls it a done-me-wrong song. I happen to know it’s loosely based on his own experiences, somewhat, but he’s not really single now. He  might talk that way. But I know he has said “I’ve had three and I think I’m done! We know several people that have said that and are still single and happily so.” Predicament Omnimedia will release Permanently Single (POM2603DD) on Friday, February 13, 2026, just in time to throw some shade at lovers’ lane during Valentine’s Day weekend. And like Robbins’s debut single last year, the folks around here think there’s “nothing wrong with that,” either.
