On Friday, 12/19/25, Predicament Omnimedia will release a special new duet edition of Christmas Through The Years by Lee Streby’s Amazing & Imaginary Band, featuring a new vocal arrangement for Streby’s adopted daughter and son Rebecca Potter and Steven Streby. Or at least these are his kids in his imaginary AI-enhanced world.
“I’m absolutely tickled by some of the positive feedback from listeners around the world since releasing this project. The song really was screaming for a duet treatment, but I hadn’t quite gotten it put together by the time the album was ready to go out for this season. So I finished it as a thank you to anyone who has listened to this project. It means a lot to me,” he says. “Even though my vocalists are fictional characters, giving them names and a little backstory helps me when I’m working on the music. People may think I’m crazy, but the truth is I’m only having fun. I know they’re not real singers, or people.”
He continues, “This was my most personal lyric, and the heart of the holiday album I created. I like both versions, but I think this one really shines.”
The 2-track single includes both the LP version with Steven Streby, and the new duet with ‘brother and sister.” The full track is already available to listen to on SoundCloud and YouTube channels. It will be available for streaming platforms and downloads on December 19.
